Shop Sale

Home Stretch Sales

August starts tomorrow and we're on the home stretch of Chicago's golf season. This means moving out inventory. So, at Klees Golf Shop we' re having an in-store BAG SALE during August: 15% off all golf bags, travel covers and golf carts!

We just got nearly 20 used Titleist 906F-PT fairway woods and 585-H hybrids that came from demo carts and driving ranges. These woods are in great shape and at a great price.

We still have last year's ProV1x balls for only $38 per dozen and the discontinued NXT and NXT Tour balls for only $20 per dozen. Plus, there are deals on discontinued irons and drivers.

It's amazing how quickly product changes for some vendors. Ping and Titleist try to get two years out of a model and find it's hard to compete with that long of a life cycle. Twenty years ago a good product could stick around for 5 years! Now, there's tremendous pressure to have new models in spring AND fall.

Pretty soon our own demo clubs will be for sale, so August is a good time to stop by or call 773-233-4000. We're likely to have what you want.

NIKE is Featured for July

Nike has let us mark down most of the shoes, so our current inventory of Nike stock (5 styles) is 30% OFF the regular price. Other July specials:

A FREE dozen One golf balls with the purchase of a Sumo or Sumo2 driver

    $25 OFF NDS irons

    15% OFF Nike golf bags

Nike also has a promotion going on with the One golf ball line. With each purchase of a dozen One balls you can enter a contest to win a one-hole "round" of golf with Tiger Woods at a golf resort. The stay at the resort is included in the prize. I'll post the specifics about this promotion soon.

Last Week for Ping Sale

This is the last week we are featuring Ping Golf. I'm delighted to report that we have sold a lot of Ping product this month. I heard just today about how great the Rapture driver is--this, from a golfer who has played with just about every make and model of driver out there.

The Ping display window did not photograph as well as I'd hoped. I put a much larger version of the photo on the Company of the Month at this link: Ping Window. The Ping people were great about sending me files of clubs and tour staff. We plan to mount the posters of the tour staff so they can set next to the many Western Open posters that line the top of the canopies over the club displays. (Our shop is not like any golf shop I've ever seen. Too bad it's hard to photograph).

There is still time to get fitted for a new Ping--driver, hybrid or iron set. You have four more months of golf left in Chicago, so play your best!
