May is Callaway Month at Klees Golf

We're featuring Callaway products all of May: $2.00 off Callaway golf balls; 15% off bags, hats and shoes; and $25 off Callaway FT and BB drivers. The X driver price was lowered to $199 and we have Big Bertha 04 iron sets for only $399. I'll be covering the Callaway product line all month and encourage you to join the Forum discussions about the new Callaway woods, wedges and irons, as well as the Odyssey putter line.

The Callaway Optifit Fitting Cart will be at Klees Golf Shop on May 7, 8, 9 and 10. Here is your chance to try out different shafts with the new FTi and FT5 driver heads. I'll be sending an email out very soon to remind you of this great opportunity to get fit for an FT driver.

MX Iron Gift with Purchase of MX-19, MX-25 or MX-900 Set

Mizuno is offering a great gift to anyone who buys an 8 piece MX-19, MX-25 or MX-900 iron set between now and June 15, 2007. With the purchase of any MX iron set you get your choice of either:

AeroLite Stand Bag or

Mizuno travel cover or

Mizuno Tour 1/4 Zip Rain top Jacket

This is a $150 value, even at our prices (more or less) and a terrific deal if you are in the market for Mizuno's game improvement irons.

The MX-19 and MX-900 have wide soles, low COG and high MOI for straight, high launch shots that mean distance and forgiveness, even on off-center hits. The MX-25 and MX-900 are forged for excellent feel in a game improvement iron.

You can get a hybrid or extra wedge if you don't want a 3-iron (plus the MX-19 set doesn't even come with a 3-iron).

Klees Golf Shop is featuring Mizuno all month, so take

Mizuno 2007

The Aerolite stand bag is only 3.5 pounds and very sharp. The Mizuno travel covers are comparable to the best U.S. made ones on the market, for substantially less money (they sell really well at our shop). The Tour Rain gear is light, breathable and waterproof, plus it comes in three great colors.

advantage of this exceptional offer, stop by and get fitted for a set of MX-irons. You won't be disappointed.

Maybe Next Year

Well, our last minute efforts to do a March Madness contest were too last minute. I like the idea of tying in the NCAA basketball rounds with a vendor of the month special, but (as Charlie pointed out) I can see it needs to be promoted at least two weeks earlier than our date.

Mizuno is still a player\'s brand and their irons are moving pretty well. The company has a great deal on the MX line, and the MX-19, MX-25 and MX-900 are excellent clubs for higher handicap golfers.

We have a large assortment of Mizuno stand bags and heavily discounted Breath-Thermo shirts, very nice windshirts and jacket/pant rainsuits. We\'ve also discounted the MX driver and F-100 wood line to reflect the market prices for these clubs.

Mizuno makes a high quality product, where most of the price goes into R&D, rather than Tour players\' pockets. Their efforts to reach a broader market of golfers has really paid off. Mizuno is now in the top five for iron sales.

I\'ll write about specific features and customer feedback of the Mizuno clubs as the month progresses. Let me know about your experience with Mizuno clubs in comments.
